In honor of National “Bike to Work Week,” the Grand Rapids Chapter of the American Institute of Architects is supporting the week of May 11-15 “Active Commute” week. The goal of Active Commute Week is to encourage people to find alternate forms of transportation to and from work -– walking, biking, or forms of mass transit –- that are healthier and more environmentally friendly.
